In case of a rear-end collision of your autonomous vehicle with a non-autonomous vehicle, following the insurance point of view, the person responsible is always the occupant of the autonomous vehicle.
In case of an autonomous vehicle colliding with a parked vehicle, the insurance responsibility is of the vehicle producer.
In case of an autonomous vehicle colliding with a parked vehicle, the insurance responsibility is of the vehicle hardware producer.
In case of an autonomous vehicle colliding with a parked vehicle, the insurance responsibility is of the software that lead the vehicle.
In case of an autonomous vehicle colliding with a parked vehicle, the insurance responsibility is of the owner of the parked vehicle.
The autonomous vehicle producer is always responsible for any damage to persons and property.
The road infrastructure manager is always responsible for any damage to persons and property caused by an autonomous vehicle.
The occupant of an autonomous vehicle is always responsible for any damage to persons and property caused by the vehicle.
The road infrastructures manager is more responsible for damage caused by an autonomous vehicle than the occupant of the vehicle itself.
The road operator is more responsible for damage caused by an autonomous vehicle than the producer of the vehicle itself.
The road manager is more responsible for damage caused by an autonomous vehicle than the software programmer that controls the vehicle's driving operations.
The occupant of a fully autonomous vehicle is never responsible for damage to persons and property caused by the vehicle.
The insurance responsibility for damage caused by an autonomous vehicle must be covered by a single insurance subject who, after the indemnity of the parties, will verify the individual responsibilities and will recover the reimbursement amounts from each responsible for the different components of the vehicle.
